Data Base Loss
 

The programs and data your organization uses daily constitute the basis of your business. The accountancy, administration, sales, purchases, personnel, logistics, production, and security programs and overall the data we have been introducing and processing are the DNA of our business.

An external attack, a negligence, a fraudulent act could put our survival at risk. How much would it cost to reintroduce all the data we have? Would it be possible? How much would we lose while we concentrate our energies on reconstructing that? How will this affect our image in front of shareholders, clients, providers?.
 
The insurance of DAMAGES TO THE DATA BASE covers the loss of those data of which the insured is the owner or without being the owner, he has the data in possession for any reason (use, licenses etc.), including those cases which the goods of the insured have been trusted to third subcontracted.
 

This includes:

Assured costs and expenses, specially

· Expenses in the data retrieval.

· Extraordinary expenses.

· Expenses of rehabilitation of public image.

· Fees of specialized consultants or auditors.

· Contractual fines.

 

Cause of the damage
The Insurer will compensate the Insured for the damages suffered in his goods as a result of some of the following causes:

· A fraudulent computer performance.

· Cyber sabotage and hacking.

· Computer virus.

· Human error.

· A failure, increase or diminution of the electricity provision that affects the assured goods.

· Computer failure or interruption in the equipment of telecommunications, equipment and/or in the lines of tele transmission of the insured.

 

In addition, optionally, it will be possible to contract the loss of benefits:
The Insurer will compensate the Insured for the loss of benefits causing damages related to “computer data, data processing and infrastructures".
